By Erebos on Sun, 2009-08-02 01:30
Pros: - Not complicated to play - Wether simulations - Sound is well set for this kind of game - You can select character from 5 diferent races
Cons: - Low graphics (this is after all 2009) - Boring, everything is same from the second turn - There is no dinamics
You know when you have that feeling that the game could be good just when you hear its name. I am fan of strategy games, especially games that are related with medival age, swords, people working for...

I will not say that you are going to waste your time because after downloading you can only waste maximum maximum 30 minutes. If you have bought it then you might do head bang. I would have rated it...

If You Like Slideshows, Boy Have I Got A Deal For You!

By Tavenos on Mon, 2009-04-13 18:12
Pros: The backgrounds are vibrant and interesting.
Cons: The gameplay is tedious and boring, and you don’t actually do anything.
Age of Castles is a strategy game, and I do use that term loosely in this case. The game suffers from a lack of features and doesn’t give you a reason to play. It tries to give you the illusion of...

Age of Castles: A Pleasant Distraction

By astroboy on Sat, 2008-09-13 21:37
Pros: - Music is excellent.

- Simplicity.

- A good distraction.

Cons: - Gameplay, story, and customization is shallow.

- Graphics... hahahaha.

- Gameplay is too linear.

The premise of Age of Castles is that you, the King of some lost fantasy land, are trying to rid the world of evil, as the intro so kindly tells us. You need to gather your forces and move through...

Pros: Simple interface makes for a very easy learning curve

The game on the outset looked promising enough. It seemed like a kingdom/castle building game and I was looking forward to some strategy and action. Images of Age of Empires floated to my mind....

Forgettable Experience

Pros: Simple game to play with a very small learning curve. Simple graphics that run smoothly and look decent.
Cons: Boring, no sense of build up or excitement No sense of reward for doing well
This game's title is a bold move by the developers. Jumping on the 'Age of...' bandwagon in an attempt to boost popularity will only leave punters frustrated with the lack of creativity, ingeniuty...
