Price: $17.95

At its core, Bricks of Egypt is an Arkanoid clone, but it goes beyond replicating the frequently imitated art of busting bricks to place a refreshing emphasis on creative level design.

Sure, there's a ball and paddle, but Arcade Labs layers these familiar basics with Egyptian-themed power-ups, bonuses and special challenges (such as hitting the water drops to extinguish fire bricks or striking keys to unlock new areas on the screen).

There's something new to see and do on every level of the shareware version. Professional quality graphics and audio complete the package.

Pros: Acceptable graphics and background music. Partially addicting. Unique designs interesting all ages.
Cons: Similar to other games with a ball and paddle. Most likely you will never see the game over screen.
Bricks Of Egypt could easily be mistaken for any other break the blocks games except for the egyptian theme. The sound "ding dong" will what you are hearing while playing. There is really no point to...

Pros: Slightly addictive. Good graphics - compared to other similar games.
Cons: Way to expensive for this sort of game. Quite mindless and you start getting really bored after a while
Bricks of Egypt is a completely mindless game. All you do is bounce a white coloured ball up and down tutankhamen or whoever's face while trying to hit a few brown bricks with it. The has a few new...

Pros: Three difficulty options, complex level system, good graphics, appeal across a wide age range, fun sound effects

Arcade Lab’s Bricks of Egypt is not a novel invention. Neopets’ fans will instantly recognize this as a more glamorous (and Egyptian) version of Korbat’s Lab. Glam for which you, of course,...

Pros: This game has good graphics and amuzing sound effects. There are a lot of levels with interesting designs.
Cons: The controls are frustrating and the music is annoying. This game is just another ball and paddle game and really adds nothing new to the genre.
