O & O Defrag

By rabbid_squirrel on Fri, 2009-07-24 16:46
Pros: O&O Defrag is extremely easy to use and has extensive options available to users. It also works faster than most other programs I've used.
Cons: Some users might find it out of their price range as it is on the upper end of the price spectrum for Defrag programs.
I've been using O&O Defrag for a long time now, and i can honestly say it is one of, if not THE best defrag tools that i've come across. It gives users different defrag options for different...

Is this my next defrag program

By gleken on Sun, 2009-04-26 13:25
Pros: Defrags and optimize your computer Nice interface Good help files and tips
Cons: Price compared to other similar programs
I have been using the freeware version of O&O Defrag which is a older version of the program and have always liked it, but time for a change so would my best option be to go to O&O Defrag V8...

A Lumbering Child On The Market.

By apluscomputers on Tue, 2009-02-17 17:23
Pros: Easy to install (& un-install), aesthetically pleasing appeal, various defrag styles.
Cons: No clean up options, no page file options, a memory hog when it "monitors" drives.
I have probably tried almost every available defrag program under the sun. Many are tested by the average person that has only ever used Windows Defrag, in that sense, here we go. O&O has done...

O&O Defrag: Overpriced for what it does

By wchill on Wed, 2008-12-31 11:00
Pros: -Plethora of different defragmentation methods -Improves slightly on standard features of common defragmenters
Cons: -Pricey compared to other defragmenters on the market -Doesn't integrate into Windows shell
I've had O&O Defrag for quite a while, along with Raxco's PerfectDisk and Diskeeper's defrag software. I must admit, PerfectDisk and Diskeeper do the job as well as, if not better than, O&O. O&O...

Nice Defragmenter

By jcollier on Mon, 2008-10-20 23:00
Pros: Graphically pleasing. Runs silently in the background. Able to be scheduled.
Cons: Won't work if your firewall blocks it from the internet. Not sure why a connection is required. Cumbersome to get the interface back up after minimizing. Too costly until these easy to fix cons are fixed.
This software is very nice. I ran it on my machine and could not even tell it was running while I was doing other things. That is the first time I've run a defragger and been able to do other stuff...

Is Defrag Professional a cool thing?

By MLNobre on Sat, 2008-03-15 21:50
Pros: + Fast doing its job + Pleasant appearance + Good and detailed information about the status of the hard-drives
Cons: - Way too pricey.
Defrag Professional is a simple to use but effective software that does what it says it does. Defrags! I really haven't tried any other paid defragmentation software but I would dare to say this one...

A very good and user friendly defrag app

By Groparul on Thu, 2008-03-13 22:25
Pros: It is faster than expected and does its job thoroughly enough. It looks okay and is user friendly but keeps you well informed.
Cons: After using Windows defrag tool, more space seems to be freed up. The price could be lower, but it's worth it anyway.
I have to admit I haven't defragmented my hard drive for quite a while. This is partly because I have been having a weird problem with one of my drive - it could not be defragmented, in any way.There...

Impressive Defragmentor

By pusatbiz on Wed, 2007-11-21 20:19
Pros: - Intelligent defragmenting method without much bothering your activity. - Surprisingly quick even when the free space very limited which in Windows would take at least double the time to defragment it. - Nice Interface and simple wizard for regular people but have quite advanced option for techie. - Put task for defragmenting to run automatically
Cons: - The price I think is better if lower than $40 - Have more option in wizard so enable different defragmentation method base on user usage/preference.
The installation is going pretty smooth with nice option to integrate to Windows shell or as default defragment software instead built in from Windows. With the tool tips, will help for newbie to...

O&O Defrag 10 Professional Edition

By GiGi on Sun, 2007-06-03 22:39
Pros: A much nicer more over viewable and usable user/interface Automatic and self-adjusting defragmentation in the background Fully Windows Vista Compatible 5 different defragmentation modes
Cons: It would be nice to get more information and advice after analyzing a volume. No pagefile defragmentation. For some users the price tag could be a bit of a problem.
First of all, I will concentrate me on version 10 of O&O Defrag since this is the latest and most up to date version. It is also the version you are most likely to buy. With its release of the new...
