Pros: very easy to pick up the controls. Original graphics, the clay effect. Two player mode and very addictive
Cons: Quite repetitive, very simple idea so it has been done before and the music isn't superb.
Platypus is a very modern game and yet has the qualities of older games. The first thing that made me buy it was the name, even though it has nothing to do with platypusses it is still quite a...

Cons: The music can get repetitious and annoying at times but it can be turned off.
Platypus in my opinion is a game everyone should at least play once. It offers old-school style gaming(think space invaders) with a new feel. The clay animation adds a really unique look to this game...

The first thing that struck me was the game's name. Platypus. Would this action game involve the actual animal? Would I be playing as him or her? The name alone left me wanting to know what this game...

Pros: Crazy artwork, fitting music, and an okay challenge. No annoying HUD.
Cons: Character development would be nice, but it's not necessary. Didn't expect the background to have hazards, but it's a good touch.
When I first saw the screenshots for this game, I thought, "Wow, all claymation? This should be interesting." It wasn't until I played it that I began to truly appreciate how much work went into it....
