Review:

The object of this game is that you are in charge of workers building roads to Rome. You instruct the workers in various tasks like build road, collect food, chop tree, etc... With the tasks getting bigger and more interesting as you progress. You have a time limit that is based on daylight so it is important to move quickly to complete each task set out in the level. In addition to tasks you must complete I found some optional tasks after the first few levels that gave some fun bonus items.

One thing I'd like to say about this game is that I had some issues with it freezing up, Though I can't speak for how the downloadable version of this game runs I did find it froze twice in firefox and once in explorer 8. I was able to refresh the browser and the game came back up either from were I was or very close to it. Aside from that issue game play was casual and fun, I moved my little workers about the world building and expanding, racing the timer. I had fun in the same way I do when I play farmville knowing I can pick up and leave at any time but being compelled to continue, to see what I can construct in the next level.

Conclusion:

Even with the game not being especially original it is only 9.95 for about 40 levels of game play. I'd say if your into this kind of game and are okay with the occasional refresh it would be worth taking a look.
