You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Allows you to slow down midi files, or speed them up. Midi to mp3 format conversion and LAME enconding. Fast conversions of big amounts of files.
No drag and drop of midi files. Doesn't refresh its pages when adding new files on your pc. Could have had more features. The price!
Mid Converter is a software that allows you to convert MIDI to mp3 and other audio formats.
What more strikes me is how in the world anyone could buy it for this price.
There are literally hundreds of software programs that perform similar tasks for free.
For merely double the price anyone could buy an educational version of home recording studio software that has a more funciontal user friendly interface, not having to restart the whole program everytime a single file is added in a folder.
On a more positive note we batch and convert huge amounts of files at
a time, a thing that could prove uneasy on some other software products.
There's even an MP3 Lame encoder included in the software, this is essential to convert any audio source to mp3 format, definitely a pro in the whole picture (most home recording studio software don't have it, and you could take the dll of the LAME encoder from Mid Converter and paste it in the folders of other programs to make their encoder work).
Overall it is a well programmed piece of software, the price tough is a long way off from its real value.
Mid Converter is definitely a product for those who have large quantities of midi files that need to be converted to mp3 format for karaoke evenings or singing lessons. It is bug free software and is reliable, but the price doesn't justify the scarce amount of features.
