Very poor implementation of the tycoon idea. Could have been done a lot better.
Review:

CoffeTycoon is a typical tree star tycoon game. The graphics is cool but overall the game is rather boring and uneventful. The objective of the game is to start, run and grow your own chain of coffee stores.

You can pick one of the five cities – New York, Chicago, Seattle, Miami or LA.Does it matter where you start? I have no idea, developers don’t tell you that. Also, you get to pick your coffee shop design. Does that effect anything? Who knows.

Ok, here is what you can do – add new items on your menu, order “upgrades”, and change the makeup of you workforce (baristas, managers, corporate). Basically, all you have to do is press “Start Day” and “End Day” buttons (don’t know why they did not call it Next Turn).

Somehow, as if my magic, you get to own new stores (by day 100 I had over 120 shops).I don’t want to totally trash the game. The graphics is cool and I liked the jazzy soundtrack. Still, it’s not my cup of tea. Or coffee.

Conclusion:

If you have free time, you might want to try the game, but I'm willing to bet my money on the fact that very few people will actually buy it after trying
