Review:

iPodSync, a program by ICC, is an interesting idea. We've all seen the pervasiveness of iPods - in the grocery store, the subway, in cars, walking around; these things are everywhere! So why not get your iPod to do more than just play music. That's where iPodSync comes in. This program will turn your iPod into a pseudo-PDA.

Installation is OK, although it took a while for me to get my iPod to work with this software. It syncs everything with Outlook, which is useful for most people, but not helpful if you don't like Microsoft's domineering Outlook program. Synchronizing everything is simple and fast, no problems there.

The only problem I had with this idea is that it's difficult to use an iPod as a PDA. The controls, the screen, the shape - none of it was designed for use as a PDA.

Other than that, this is a great way to carry around important information like contacts, appointments, and emails.

Conclusion:

Great software for the price, but the idea falls a bit short because of the iPod's shortcomings.
