XoftSpy Review

XoftSpy is mainly designed to remove spyware, adware, keyloggers, hijackers, malware and spybots - but trust me, it does nothing. It's really poor and a waste of time and money - and destroys your computer! I installed XoftSpy much time ago, the installation was fast, but the software slowed down my PC - it had never been slower than that!

XoftSpy:
- has a very poor design
- has an old and boring interface
- has no cool effects and trasparency
- slows down our PC
- runs poorly and slowly
- starts after 7-8 seconds
- fails to edit some scheduled events
- fails to find new spyware, malware and other threats
- the Help section is good but not easy to understand
- has no protection against high level dangerous threats
- the only main feature is the threat scanning feature
- MUST NOT be bought at a very high price, or even tried for free, with a computer which has many threats already in it, because the use of XoftSpy would just lend a hand for the threats that computer
- is not popular
- is not trusted by many people
- is not used my many people
- is not listed in the top ten antiviruses and anti-spyware softwares
- the animated lion picture is bogus to be included in ANY software!
- includes no Real-Time scanning and protection
- includes no network protection
- scans the computer really slowly and the scan starts after we press the scan button, and wait for 5-6 seconds
- has very less options/settings
- contains some glitches
- does not includes a protection graph
- does not ensures the full security of the computer

Despite the serious 22 drawbacks that XoftSpy has, it does offer free help and support, has a schedule option which automatically, when the time comes, starts the selected type of scan. XoftSpy contains some tools like 1. Turning add-ons on or off and 2. Backing up some items after removing threats. It offers (very less) information about the versions, update timings and the registration info. The program is also easy to use.

I would still recommend something better than XoftSpy becuase it does not offer full system protection and is not a complete security suite. Other antispyware programs are better than XoftSpy, offer complete system protection, sometimes are free of cost, run and work quickly, does not make the computer slow down, and find loads of new and high-level threats like viruses and spyware (including keyloggers, hackers, spies, malwares, adwares...)
