Review:

This program is a nifty little tool for beginners to get to know the feel and layout of the keyboard and improve their pace of typing. I have used this software twice at different stages of typing proficiency ( If there is such a term :P ).

AS A NOVICE:

Initially when I started out as a computer novice a few years back, I came across this software and tried out the trial version. It was very very SIMPLE TO USE and the touch typing feature definitely HELPED in getting started on typing. The games can not be said to be very useful to the learning curve, though are good related timepasses. It is unlikely that anyone will follow the entire course as it is time taxing!! But doing a couple of the exercises straight away after basic courses helped in improving my speed.

AS AN INTERMEDIATE:

Recently, after a few years since I initially used it, I tried it again just to see how much I had improved naturally over the years (NO - I was not using the software for a couple of years regularly). Though I could gauge my improved WPM rate, I did not find it useful in developing my typing skills further. One USEFUL NEW FEATURE was the Satellite feature which tests your typing methods in other applications and gives you good feedback. I would recommend the trial version for the intermediate users. Don't think full version is worth the money

Conclusion:

RECOMMENDED FOR NEWBIES TO TYPING.
