Review:

I must say that after playing Coffee Tycoon i felt a need to punch something. Maybe even break something. Coffee Tycoon gives the Tycoon franchise a bad name.

First off, the game is almost too easy. While the plus side of this easyness is that its very easy to pick up and go without even really reading the instructions. The interface is very easy to use with few menus. The downside to this is that you have very little control of the game.

Basically your job in the game is to start and end the days, and purchase upgrades for the business. That's it. Thats the entire game right there. Complete those two tasks and HOPE your business does good. Now, im not a person who likes to micromanage but this is just boring. I like to feel like i have some control over the game.

All the events that happen during your business day are all simply randomly generated events that pop up when they feel like it. The worst part about this is that you have no way to stop them. There's no adjusting anything to keep the stores cleaner or keep your employees happy, etc. Just start and end your day and purchase your upgrades.

Frankly this is a game for children probably between the ages of 6-14. This is not a game for older people. The redundant and almost TOO easy gameplay makes this game not fun at all.

Conclusion:

In conclusion i would not recommend this game to anyone over the age of 14. The redundancy and easiness of the game makes it a boring knock off of the good games in the Tycoon series.
