Review:

When you first start the program you have the choice of selecting a selection of EZ-DJ Plus music or mixing your own mp3's. Not really any different from other DJ mixing programs. However, that's where the good news ends.

The first problem I have with EZ-DJ Plus is it's interface. It is way too simple. Even the most inexperienced users will find it to be a little too easy to use. The only feature that even resembles a real mixer is the crossfader. The interface doesn't include essential buttons such as CUE, LOOP, or even PLAY/PAUSE. Other features such as sample sounds and effects are very simple and ineffective. Plus, the look of the program is very unprofessional and a little cheesy.

Another problem with the program is mixing itself. Scratching with this program is virtually impossible. While there are four buttons with preset scratches, you cannot create your own scratches as you would with other programs. On top of that, when you try to pause a song you have to physically take the needle off the disc with your mouse as well as manually stop all the effects that you having playing. Not the kind of precision that you are looking for when it comes to a DJ mixing program.

The third problem I found with the program is exporting. You can only export the file as .wmv, .wav, and .ra. This becomes very inconvenient when you are looking to save it as an mp3. That's a lot of backtracking.

Conclusion:

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Way too simple even if to the recreational mixer. Very little control.
