Review:

Where to begin!!

I found the game to be very disappointing, now don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Scrabble but this game just didn't have that special something to hold my attention span.

To start with, the music and sound effects are terrible and very distracting, luckily you can turn them off. Visually it could be better.

To play, you try and form words on the grid from the 7 letters your given, naturally the longer the word the higher you score. Upon reaching your goal, you play the bonus round where you can form a word for extra points.
The board is a 9x9 grid and has five colored squares on it. In the bonus round, it is the letters in these coloured squares that are used in forming that extra word.

The game allows you to save between levels, helpful when you need that all important break. The game should have had 2 player function or a player VS computer mode because one doesn't always want to play against the clock.

Conclusion:

I guess if your a DIE-HARD-SCRABBLE-FAN then you might derive some enjoyment from this game but I would advise you to buy a real scrabble board, since that is way more fun. If your considering buying this, I suggest you try the trial version first and judge whether you think its worth the price of $17.95. I certainly dont think it is.
