Review:

iPod Sync is an incredible tool that every iPod owner should at least be aware about. While to does not really turns you into iPod into a PDA, it does something really, really cool. Namely, it places all you Outlook data (contacts, e-mail messages, calendar, etc.) onto your iPod AND makes it easily accessible.

What’s an iPod? Basically a portable hard-drive (we aren’t talking about Nano and Shuffle). Still, iPod was designed to play music and store songs, not to be used as an organizer. iPod Sync lets you browse through your MS Outlook data and read e-mails through iPod Notes menu.

You can’t really manage all that stuff with the iPod, but you can take it with you wherever you go. On the plane, for example. But that's not all iPod Sync can do; it also adds RSS feeds, movie information, and weather forecasts. You get a list of preconfigured feeds - including those for news, sports, and the iPod Lounge site - but you can easily add your own custom links.

Conclusion:

The trial version basically gives you a very thorough view of the program, so if you own and iPod and use MS Outlook as a planning and self-organizing tool, you lose by not trying iPod Sync.
