CoffeeCup GIF Animator, although it has become a relatively obsolete production tool, is nevertheless a useful one for quick, simple animations. It has an easy to navigate interface, coupled with intuitive input and output options, which makes CoffeeCup somewhat of a gem.
From the very start, the small install file means for a quick installation, so you can quickly get right into the animation. The user interface is such that those with little or no experience in design or animation will find that CoffeeCup is quite easy to use. On the downside, however, the help documentation is sparse, meaning that if the user interface isn’t understandable to novice users, it may take some time to decipher.
Although it is a simple graphics production tool, is still useful for those who want to make small animations without wanting the expense and time required to learn Adobe Flash.
