Review:

Cosmo Bots builds upon the foundation of classic computer games like Jezzball while preserving its essence. Simply, capture as much of the level as you can without getting hit!

In each level you take the role of a device tasked with claiming a given percentage of space as your own. This is done by your ability to shoot a straight horizontal or vertical line that, upon reaching a wall, will fill in a portion of the level. Fill in enough (usually 85-90%) and you'll progress to the next.

Cosmo Bots is fun for a while until you begin to realize the 500+ available levels are all kind of the same. For $20 Cosmo Bots is a bit pricey, especially considering similar versions of it can be found for free on the internet. It boasts a tried and true mechanic, sharp graphics and an enjoyable soundtrack, but all of these things probably won't be enough to entice the average gamer into a purchase.

Had it included features like a variety of gameplay options or a level editor, its value would have been significantly improved. However it doesn't. Cosmo Bots is a solid game, but it certainly does nothing to keep things interesting or distinguish itself from other worthy titles.

Conclusion:

Fun for a while but doesn't include some features as it could- and probably should- have had.
