Pros:
Easy to learn. Read the Help Tutorial for 5 minutes while playing around with the software, and you'll have the basics down. Also, you're not limited to a 2 channel mixer.
Cons:
Playlist isn't as easy as the rest of the program. The automated sliders should be added to the track volume and balance.
Review:

Anyone who has been to a dance sometime in the past 10 years has probably seen the young DJ running the show off of his laptop. It's usually pretty easy to tell: they have every popular song off of the internet, and the transition between songs is slightly rough, usually because the DJ is using the music programs that come standard with the computer.

Virtual DJ Studio gives even the amatuer DJ the ability to add some professional touches to his/her work. The Interface is designed to resemble the mixer hardware that you are longer limited. This gives the added flexibility of moving away from the traditional 2-track mixer, fading from one side to the other. VDJ takes advantage of your computer and allows you to play with as many channels as you can fit on your screen. Just click a channel, find the music on your hardrive, and you're good to go!

The cross-fader is assignable with the click of a button, and can even make the transition smoothly for you. The Equaliser can be applied to the master on its way out, or you can EQ each individual track. If you think you can handle it, there is even an option speed up or slow down the tempo of a song to match that of the one you are fading out of. This feature also has an automated button to slowly transition back to normal speed without any noticeable jumps in the sound.

The 'Cue' button is where Next Generation Software has done some real magic. For those of you ready to take your DJ skills to the next level, you can start cueing and matching tracks using the Cue function. This sends the second track to the second sound card (if you have one), which you will use for headphones. This way you can either preview tracks, or start matching the tempos before you begin playing for the crowd.

Conclusion:

For anyone who has ever considered taking their DJ skills beyond creating a decent playlist, this is the software you need. Nothing you don't need. Everything you do. You'll be beat matching and cross-fading for the crowd like a pro in minutes.
