Review:

Smugglers 3 is a real treat for sci-fi and space simulation fans, it lets you explore the universe, trade and even influence wars.

The first time i started the game i wasn't really impressed by the menu design, it's not very intuitive, and is a bit ugly. After a few dead-end menu tries i finally started a new game...

The story seemed pretty classic, but that always works for me so, and it will work for all you other space sim fans out there.
You start off as a small ship with no fame, reputation nor money and your goal is to get al three of those. You make money by trading, reputation and inter-stellar fame by completing quests and missions for the planet governors. After gaining some serious cash you can buy a new ship and go to new galaxies or you can upgrade your existing ship so you can be more powerful in battle.

As for the battle system...At first you see some pretty nice modeled spaceships, but when it gets to battle there is absolutely no graphics, and thats a big minus for the overall performance.

The first 15 minutes of the game were very boring because i didn't know what was happening, what do i have to do, or where is my ship, but after i got the hang of it i started fighting in the civil war and trading like a real spaceship captain.

Conclusion:

Although the game has a few cons like the lack of battle graphics, and an ugly interface it will provide a great deal of fun for a space sim fan or anyone else who wants to become one.
