Aqua Deskperience Review

Aqua Deskexperience is a good and useful software but not to everyone.
Most of the features provided by this software is easily available on almost all operating systems by default.

The usage is very easy. All one has to do is press CTRL+SHIFT and then drag on the screen, if its a single word just press CTRL+left mouse button and CTRL+left mouse button on clear area to capture whole screen. And also all the features are listed in one drop down menu which comes when something is selected.

In case you don't come to know, there is settings and much more, available on clicking once, the system tray icon of this software.

The main feature of this software is to capture anything from your computer screen including places where copying is not allowed or not available. Other features include:-
1. Save text as txt file
2. One can edit, email or print the selected text
3. Get font and colour info on selected area
4. Instantly preview dragged rectangle selection
5. One can share using instant messenger(just copies the saved image link to the clipboard and gives instructions to share through messenger)
6. One can save, edit, view or print image
7. One can create your own custom search (local or web) for the selected text along with default searches like Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, News, Wiktionary, Stock Quotes, MSDN, eBay, I'm Feeling Lucky, etc.
8. In addition to these features there is a spell check and a translator (uses translate.google.com)
9. Reveal asterisks password (the application terminated and gave an error report when I tried it)
10. Includes small web search bar present always on screen(from settings)
11. One can add timestamp information to notes (from settings)
12. One can also change the shortcut for selection (from settings)

Now for the negative part. 40% of the features like translate and spell check depends on the web. So a person without net cannot use those features. Drag selection from below-right corner does not work.
Quite expensive for a software like this. Always uses Internet Explorer for web, therefore irritating for Mozilla Firefox users. One cannot select more than one page of text in a word document or more than what he sees on the screen.
