Review:

For those of us who use sticky notes in real life this desktop enhancement provides yet another way for our everyday errands to invade our personal space, a way that wont lose sticky-ness and fall to the floor to be forgotten. For those of us who have already given in and use programs such as Outlook, Web-Office, and Mozilla Sunbird, this application falls short of the expectations we have come to expect.

To begin with Sticky notes offers a free trial that is limited in scope. Only ten notes are allowed with the free download which is definitely considered a trial in people's hectic lives that require ten things a day to remember.

If one buys the complete version for 17.95 they get unlimited notes on their desktop as reminders. This would be helpful if people woke up and used their computers right away, something the majority of people using this application do not do. The program lacks a add-on to print out a list of notes for the day if people would like to take their to-do list with.

This program does offer ease of use, albeit that ease comes from the limited options it provides. For the people who just want to jot things down to remember this is the program for them.

Conclusion:

Sticky notes is a program for those who are less plugged into the world. For the rest of us using Outlook and other programs, it is not needed.
