Twistingo Review
Cute Animals and Wicked Demons Do Not a Game Make
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Let me get back to you on that one.
Everything not covered by Pros.
I like bingo. I like matching puzzle games if there it is something unique about it. But this combination of both is so slow that I was bored before the first level was up. My free trial took me as far as somewhere in the second level, at which point 2 cards showed up, but on the next screen it was back to one. Go figure.
There’s just no challenge here. You cannot control the numbers coming out. They are undoubtedly randomly generated and they are sooo sloww. Even if you right-click and bring out extra numbers there is no way to really control that either.
Secondly, there isn’t a whole lot of instruction. Although some hints came on, I never did figure out what my "lucky number” was. And it was pretty obvious that your level is saved when you switch to the timed version. When I tried it, I just clicked on every number on my bingo card out of curiosity. They disappeared so quickly I probably set a new world record.
Twistingo is obviously a game for very young children. Terms such as “wicked demon” and “cute animals” abound. I suppose if you had a very young one, he/she would be moderately amused, but if your child is bright, opt for any LeapPad product instead.
Oh, excuse me, did I fall asleep during that last level?
