Review:

The game on the outset looked promising enough. It seemed like a kingdom/castle building game and I was looking forward to some strategy and action. Images of Age of Empires floated to my mind. However, I was brought crashing back to earth in the third minute of my foray into this game, if that is what the developers call it.

Graphics
Horrible. The graphics are so sub-par and the animation does not change, except for the height of your castle. You just stare at a plot of land with ONE preset animation of peasants building the castle.

Sound
The sound for the game was terrible. There was ZERO music, and the whole game you will only hear the wind howling and the sound of digging.

Gameplay
Basically you own a castle and with it a group of peasants who you will split to do 4 different types of jobs each day - Merchants, Soldiers, Builders and Clerics. How you split your population up into the 4 job types will be entirely up to you, depending whether you want to build up your gold, your infrastructure or your population. After that you will begin the day and watch (with a yawn) as next to no animation takes place to show you what your people are doing. You will occasionally get messages like "your people found a treasure chest. +25 gold" and "fire in the castle. -7 castle".

Now and then you will encounter goblins or giant spiders who will attack you. I was looking forward to an engaging battle interface but all I got was 2 clip-art type of pictures and the only choices I had were "attack" and "retreat". Hitting "attack" just resulted in the words "hit" or "miss" depending on whether I hurt the enemy or not. This whole cycle just continues on and on. Build, wait for the day to end, buy artifacts (which are basically useless), fight random enemies, repeat.

Overall
Thus, overall, I rate this as the worst game I have played this year, and would kindly (strongly) suggest you give this game a skip.

Conclusion:

Don't waste you time, and even more importantly, don't waste your money on this game. Really.
