Review:

Watching movie on your iPod or any mp4 player is one interesting thing to do when you're on the move. The same goes for me too, I like to watch my favorite movies on my mp4 player while I'm travelling to somewhere far from my hometown. Thus a dvd to mp4 converter is a must have software for me. I've tried several converter till now and Lenogo DVD Movie to iPod converter are the most recent software I used to fulfill my movie converting needs.
The first thing I noticed from this software is its performance. Lenogo have made this very good converter that offer such a great speed in converting a DVD movie into an mp4 format. It tooks just about half an hour, well about 32 minutes to be exact, to convert 1 hour and 30 minutes of DVD movie into an mp4 format.

Its user interface, despite its plain look, is very simple and easy to use that even newbie could use it without any hassle. It lacks some advanced setting though but it covers all essential option you need when converting your dvd to mp4. As for a non-advanced user like me, this software offer all the option I need thus I have no complaint for this drawback.

As we know, tasks like converting and rendering video require much of your PC processing power, thus your processor plays the main role here. I'm currently using a Core2Duo processor and this software takes higher than 50% cpu usage when video converting are on the run. Its almost two times higher than when I work on image editing while listening music and scanning my system using antivirus which take about 28% of cpu usage. And it could be even worse if you using an older processor. Not to mention that other software have much much better efficiency but I think this software is not that good in this department.

As for the price, I found it just an average for software of the same type, not too expensive but it's not too cheap either. You can find other software that offer more tweaking on your video output but usually it costs more bucks, but you might find other cheaper software that have same if not better performance compared to this one though.

Conclusion:

Just like the title said, a pretty good software. Although it have some drawbacks, it can give you a fast and good converting result.
