Review:

Bugatron borrows almost every aspect of the game from Galaga, so it's difficult to review it without illuding back to it. It's basically the same game, sprinkled with new physics and graphics and with some added features. While the graphics are nice, is it enough to warrant a buy?

Well, it's a good game for what it is. It's a remake of an original retro 80's game. Instead of aliens, your shooing insects (which explode just like ships). It's suprisingly addictive for a remake. The graphics arent mind blowing, but they're not supposed to be. It's a simple little game with enough interesting things to keep the user playing for at least a little while. Whether or not this warrants a buy is totally up to the user.

While at first 88 levels in the full version sounds amazingly nice. However, no matter how much pizazz they add to it; it's still just a simple space shooter. As the levels increase in difficulty, the eye-candy of the levels increases as well. The formations get more colorful and interesting, and much more things are happening on the screen at once. It becomes frantic and fun. This is how the game was intended to be.

Conclusion:

It's great game if you take it for what it is. It's a simple redesign of a classic arcade game. Worth a purchase? Maybe for some people.
