Review:

When i downloaded this demo i was expecting it to be a tetris remake that could possibly be better than the original... Instead you are met with extreme boredom; music that would annoy evan the most docile of farmyard animals; and finally the graphics that make runescape look amazing.

When you first play brickshooter you are met with the monophonic music which after 10 minutes will start eating holes in your brain. If your going to take the time to make a game you might aswell make a decent enough soundtrack to go with it.

The game itself is an interesting concept, i like the ideas behind it as it is very imaginative. However the way that the game has been constructed is dull and mindnumbing. The lack of variation in the gameplay makes it seem very repetative. The complicated nature of the game also means that you spend too much time looking at how you could get brick combinations than actually attempting them. This type of gameplay appeals to some poeple, but i prefer to play games than looking at them.

The game options add some structure to the the game. For example the different skins that can be chosen can help to increase the attractiveness of the game environment.

Conclusion:

The concept of the game makes it seem appealing, but the way the game has been constructed has to be changed to interest a wider audience of gamers.
