Review:

My first impressions of Virtual Dj Studio was "WOW this is ugly". The interface is horribly put together and is very dark. All the space, dials, sliders etc... that are not in use are very dark colors. This will prevent you from working with this program for prolonged periods of time. The only time it is helpful is when there is no light. If the interface was better this would be a above average program.

Now let me just say that this program is not for the pros. Not even for people playing at big parties or small gigs. This is program for the beginners that want to try their luck at Djing with out shelling out $200+ for a program like Traktor or Numark Cue. But the best thing about this program is the price. This is very cheap for Dj software and should be considered in its own category. Still there could be some quick and easy changes to make this program better like a different color scheme or better yet, a theme system where people can make their own color scheme (theme) and download others. Also spread out the interface. The interface seem way too cluttered for me and it didn't even use the whole screen. The last improvement I see that can be made is some more included effects.

Conclusion:

The program is for beginners with a limited budget and should only be considered for beginners. I use Traktor Pro and to have so many fetures taken away is horrible. The interface need major improments and some more format support and effects would be nice.
