Review:

Cosmobots is an addictive game that is easy to pick up and fun to play. It has a wide array of entertaining powerups and sometimes powerdowns that create a level of discord that shakes up a game that could otherwise be fun but monotonous.

The gameplay isn't very deep, but it's no less addicting and satisfying. Basically you make lines to fill up the board, destroying bug robots on one side of it for points and powerups. Powerups will across the screen so you can catch them, making your line go faster or making everything else go slower, giving you weapons, or extra lives. Sometimes you may accidentally hit a powerdown that causes your line to go slower or enemies to go faster.

The graphics are immediately impressive and the sound is satisfying and intuitive, giving you a wonderful sense of what's going on all over the board. The enemies all look different so they are very easy to tell apart but after the first levels there are so many of them it's hard to tell what enemies there are due to the sheer number of them.

There are a few minor annoyances in the game, like how slow the line shoots without powerups, how many enemies there can be, or having to click on the letters in buttons instead of the buttons themselves, but none of them negatively affect the gameplay that much and it's easy to get over the buttons issue.

Conclusion:

All in all, the game is pretty good, with impressive graphics, satisfying, informative sound, and shallow yet addictive gameplay. It could do with more creative changes in difficulty than more enemies, and it could do with more complex gameplay, but it's an acceptable product as it is.
