Pros:
very compact, easy installation, reliable playback, karaoke support
Cons:
pitch control doesn't modify key so stutter appears, no hotkeys, too much range to pitch control for such a small fader, effects considered plugins, imprecise tempo matching, weird graphical glitches
Review:

There are quite some reviews for this piece of software already, but I thought I should try it myself and write my opinion. Why? Because I'm working in this domain since I was a teenager, and I had dozens of music software pass through my hands.

Do you sometimes like to mix beats and play different songs from various inputs? This program will make that a lot easier by offering you the possibility to load as much as 10 different songs in the same time! Does that sound great? Because it isn't... professional dj's normally use between 2 and 4 inputs, you only need more lines when you are recording a new song, but don't think you'd be able to do that with VDJ.

Platform is nice, everything was made to fit that small box, and there's a impressive number of features inside those not-so-many pixels, however many key-controls are missing, you don't even get a graphical representation of the beats, not even a beat counter for that matter... Once you get more experience in the domain this becomes unimportant, but VDJ is obviously designed for beginners, so we have our paradox here.

Conclusion:

Why would one use this program? It offers enough support to play more tracks at the same time, but other than that it doesn't give a dj what a dj needs. Experiment with it for a while, maybe you'll discover a new passion for music, but if you do then you should look for a real virtual mixing console.
