Pros:
Simple to understand, Burn copyprotected DVD you want to protect, Lots of advanced features, Great for beginners
Cons:
About the only thing that I could possibly say is that some people will not like the interface colors or designs - A bit dark. I like them. But I don't know if there are other designs available. The speed may also be an issue if you don't have like two drives or an older computer.
Review:

Have you bought your kids a DVD only to need a replacement a couple of months later because the disk was too scratched? Well, it’s happened to me too many times! I have had to REPURCHASE the same movie! So now I, like many corporations, will have a master copy and a copy for battlefield duty.

DVD Cloner IV will duplicate your DVD. The application is very easy to use and the front face of the application can be used by beginners and more advanced features for more demanding, more advanced users. The design is very straight forward. It will actually tell you step by step what to do – example Step 1 of 6. This makes this a perfect learning tool for first timers. It also takes less time to burn a copy if you have two drives (one to play and one to make the copy – to burn). I tested this software in a laptop, so you have to juggle the disks original to copy to the hard-drive and then the blank disk to make the copy.

The disk I tested was scratched a little – I wanted to test the software to the limit. The software was able to make a good copy. However, next time of course it would be best to make the copy right after I buy that cartoon or superhero DVD and then I can put away the original. I was impressed by the compression because the original was 7.7 GB. Maybe I could have taken out the extras and the quality of the movie would be better because I have to normal DVD+R disks which are 4.7 GB.

The interface design is very nice and the more advanced options are tucked away, but within easy reach. The more advanced user can make movies to AVI, MPEG and SVCD. You can even change the language of the interface!

Like in other reviews, there is the more technological lingo that this software has advanced features, but I think people will learn enough to do the basics or learn little by little. I would be happy paying this price because the software will pay off for itself in very little time by keeping your DVD collection safe from the scratches that can be created in seconds and ruing an original DVD. I wholeheartedly recommend this for families with kids. The price is very fair.

Conclusion:

This is definite buy specially a must buy for families with children.
