MySlideShow Review

Anix Software nailed it with MySlideShow. The first thing that struck me with this software was the manner in which it was organised.

'Brilliant' is the only word that comes to my mind. The five little windows (Folders, Projects, Preview, File List and Slide List) niched in the main screen, help you to organise your pictures with perfection. The Folders window has an explorer type interface that allows you to browse quickly through your folders and reach your selected files with ease. The minute you select a folder, all the images in it are displayed as thumbnails in the File List window.

The selected file appears as a slightly larger image than a thumbnail in the preview window. You can then add the selected files or all the images in a folder to a slide list which arranges the files in the order in which they will be displayed. All this happens in a matter of seconds (at the most a few minutes) and your masterpiece is ready. In one glance, you can see where you got the files from, which ones you selected, what they look like and how there are arranged. If you want to admire some of your other fine shows, all you need to do is to click on one of your saved projects displayed in another niched window called 'Projects'.

To add more magic to your work, you can add any audiotrack on your computer with the click of a button. You can also change the way images appear and if you dont want to do the hard work yourselft, just select the random effects option and you're done. There is also a dedicated button that exports your entire slideshow as an executable file.

The amazing part about this software is that it has ready options for you to put together your slide-show while providing you with the flexibility of creating something new each time. All though the software isnt 'pretty' it sure is effective.
