Review:

An Attempt to make a classic game into a video game. Don't get me wrong it a great little game and highly addictive.

Great representation of the real game. Good sound effects, smooth easy play, gave me the real feel of playing in a nice quiet 'snug bar'.

I felt a real sense of calm playing against my computer. If i had had a nice real ale on that bar and it was a Sunday i could have done that all day. If the computer would stop for a minute and let me win!

I am not a very good snooker or pool player for that matter, but i felt the game reacted exactly as it does in real life. I could whack it as hard as i could, or gently caress the ball in an attempt to snooker the computer.

I wasn't all that keen on the decor in the 'pub', the 'bar' was somewhat lacking and as for the TV, some snooker pro locked in an everlasting pose for all eternity. poor chap. But at least there was no attempt to have animated NPCs in the background. Or irritating music.

It was definitely dedicated to the snooker and a lot of effort went into that, hence why the background was almost images just pasted there.
But i played this for snooker, not have a virtual pint in a quiet bar.

Conclusion:

Very good representation of snooker with excellent sound effects. Nice quiet relaxing game to be enjoyed by yourself or with a friend online perhaps. I really enjoyed this game and will continue to play it in the future.
