Midi Maestro MM4 Review
Midi Maestro MM4
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
easy to use, supports most codecs
Doesn't provide a lot of help out of the box
The install was quick, but the installer minimized for a few minutes and I couldn't open it back up until it was done (this made me frustrated; I did not know if it was the program or my computer, which was running Vista at the time, of course).
At first I was impressed with the editor when it first opened up. It had a clean interface, with easy-to-use controls (very big play, pause, fast forward and rewind buttons), with a "tip of the day." There was no getting-started tutorial links that popped up, which was bad because I instantly had no clue on how to use this piece of software. Luckily, however, there was a "help" section with the full manual on editing and creating a song. Even after reading the full help section, however, I was still a little bit lost on what to do.
Other than that, I think that this program is great for $50 (there are different licensing options) if you aren't looking for a more robust program.
I think that I'll still be sticking with Adobe's Soundbooth before I switch to this. The company has a great start on the product, but it still could use a little work.
