Review:

I have never really played Snooker before, but this game has turned me to look into it. Overall, I say this game is worth it. There are a few disappointments here and there, but nothing too huge.

I'll start with the playability. It is a fairly easy game to learn, but the directions on how to play don't really stand out. They are in a small font in the corner of the screen. It took me a little bit to figure it out. As well as the inverted camera movements and the lack of the option to switch between inverted and non-inverted was sort of discouraging. Personally I am NOT used to inverse at all and it took a few games to get used to it. Also, the time between shots seems a little drawn out. Once you make your shot, the camera SLOWLY zooms back in for your next shot. Same thing when your opponent is shooting. He shoots, then it SLOWLY zooms back out for the next shot.

Next, the visual aspect of the game. Of course the graphics are not cutting edge, it's a snooker game, it doesn't even need amazing graphics. Although, the backgrounds are a little tacky and seemed to have been lazily put together. And some of the little animations such as the pendulum on the clock, in the bar background, can be a little distracting at times.

Lastly, the audio experience. The sounds are all crisp and match up perfectly to what it is attempting to represent. The only 'glitch' type occurrence is when you hit to many balls at once the sound seems to cut out here and there. The only real big complaint would be the lack of music. Yeah, it's a billiard game, but it still seems very empty without some background music. After a while of playing it I was about to go insane (not really) without the music, so I pulled up itunes and played some beats. Music definitely adds a certain warmth to the game.

Conclusion:

Fun game to play, I wouldn't put it first on your list, but it is worth buying.
