I like all the features of East-Tec Eraser, it's user friendly.
Backup features missing.
Features such as Privacy Guard are great feature
to secure your computer from the outside world.
It erases cache files, cookies to protect sensitive
data from user’s online activity.
When we deleted data from our computer it does not
automatically remove from our computer and this is
dangerous when this computer are used by multiple
user because deleted data can still be recover by
latest recovery applications. That’s why East-Tec
Eraser 2007 includes Erase Deleted Data to totally
destroy all deleted data from user’s computer.
If this is a data Eraser utility I think it should have
a Backup feature because someone who incidentally
makes decision and wants to undo his action could
restore it.
I always look for a program that doesn’t consume much
resources of computer, this is not the one I’m looking for.
Security conscious software but maybe there are some other good software around.
