Pros:
Great interactive Tutorial, a good starter game for those who want to learn to play poker. Has an in depth story line, Well for a poker game that is. Large array of different looking tables to play on and backdrops. A great cross between a poker game and a role playing game. Simple user Interface
Cons:
Graphics are not great Story line is a little repetitive. The poker games are similar to others out there. If you’re not a huge poker fan the game gets a little boring after a few hours.
Review:

This game has the element of a normal poker game, by which I mean you will sit at a table and play poker against computer run characters, just like every other poker game out there. But the diffirence with Governor of poker 2 is that you run your character in a much more role playing fashion. You start off in a small town in Texas which happens to be the last town in which they haven’t banned poker. From there you work (by convincing the governors in the form of poker games) that its not all about luck and about the skill of reading others and the enjoyment of playing. It could have been a bit of a gamble for a game like this but I think they pulled it off well and the mix of role play and poker works well.

As for the actual poker playing the tables are great as you actually feel like your moving around Texas opposed to just staying in one area, The game play is nothing new though. They use the same style as allot of other poker games out there but its still a game i would suggest you have a look at if you like to delve into computer poker.

Conclusion:

All in all a good poker game with a bit more depth to it than most poker games out there, Its a great game to play if you like poker but also fancy a bit of story line as well. Its easy to use and great for beginners, I had great fun playing it myself.
