Pros:
- The artwork is nice and fits the game perfectly - The game rewards you for trying hard to complete the missions - The game will appeal to casual gamers and time management fans
Cons:
- May not please the most hardcore time management game fans - The theme is a bit geared more towards children - Completing the expert goals is not difficult in most of the missions.
Review:

Usually, I like to save the princesses, stinky low-class citizens, and castles back in my childhood storybooks or at the Renaissance Fair that tumbles through my area every year. However, I'll make an exception in saying that I thoroughly enjoyed playing My Kingdom for the Princess.

My Kingdom for the Princess is a fast paced time management and worker placement game that lies heavily on how you manage your stinky peasantry and the resources spread across the map and produced by your buildings. I thought that this mechanic was quite fun, and you were always pushed to hurry up and finish the map before your time ran out and the princess started on her way.

Upon entering each map, you see the start of the route and the end. In between these two points are obstacles, such as broken sections of road, broken bridges, downed swamp crossings, etc. You also see buildings, and resources scattered across the map.

It is up to you to utilize your workers in order to finish repairing the route before the princess and her knight set out, if you do not complete this, it is game over.

You can complete the missions in either standard or expert time. Most of the time, I do not care about this, however, if you complete a mission in expert time, you receive a piece of your castle being constructed. This gives you the urge to gain these expert goals in order to see your castle take shape, improve, and expand.

The visuals were bright, cheerful, cheesy, and clever. They seem to jumped straight out of a fairytale pop-up book. This compliments the theme, and I enjoyed the visuals. The music is typical, and is just enough to entertain your ears without being distracting.

Conclusion:

My Kingdom for the Princess is a decent buy for either yourself or your children if you are into fairy tales or time management games. It is not the most challenging game ever, but is still fun for most people. A decent buy.
