Somewhat OK MahJongg

By illusionist on Mon, 2012-05-07 17:45
Pros: Various modes of MahJongg and tiles to chose from.
Cons: There isn't much of a challenge. The graphics are mediocre. There are better MahJongg games out there.
Have you ever played on a coin op machine? You know, those machines that you throw a coin in, and play like mad before your time or energy runs out, and then you throw another coin because you...

Review Pretty Good Mahjongg

By kaysheehan on Wed, 2010-07-14 05:43
Pros: The version has a lot of game options and different options; there are many choices of games. If you want to play every version of Mahjong, you might like.
Cons: No sound or music. Sometimes it is difficult to identify the different characters and the text is too complex a game designed to be simple, there is too much stuff that I'm sure nobody would ever use.
The tiles were very difficult to see. A band of red around, said the shadow, and depth. But I still very difficult to determine whether the tile is free or bound by other tiles. Each game opens in a...

All the MahJongg you'll need

By Djaraiceonfire on Fri, 2009-10-23 20:44
Pros: Interesting. good compilation of MahJongg games
Cons: irritating sounds. distracting graphics. Hard to understand instructions.
Goodsol Developments' latest production, a compilation of MahJongg games. The Game is not as pleasing as their last production "Action Solitaire". It is pretty disappointing comparing it to their...

Welcome to 1995

By c_vokey on Fri, 2009-09-11 03:14
Pros: Hey... its Mahjongg... who don't like Mahjongg
Cons: This game has a very dated look and feel.
This software company is in dire need of a Graphic Artist. With the 1995 "Chocolate Bar" style buttons on the left hand side and the old Windows Look and Feel, this game really is an antique. There...

Well The Title Says it All

By Andie Francese on Wed, 2009-08-26 21:16
Pros: The pricing is not half bad and you get a lot out of it. There are several games to play and if you are just looking to mess around for a bit with a quick and easy game this will fit the bill.
Cons: The game has too much going on at once. The publisher and developer apparently had no idea how to create a cohesive interface with even mediocre aesthetics.
"Pretty Good" is right there in the title so you shouldn't be expecting a wonderful game from the get go. If the publisher was going for a top-notch game they would have gone with "Great" or "The...

A blast from the past...

By coolsuffdude on Thu, 2009-08-20 03:22
Pros: Good game audio, many tile arrangements, and works quickly.
Cons: Bad graphics, annoying registration prompts everywhere, unnecessary menu options, not addictive at all, not fun.
A few years ago Mahjongg was the hottest game imported from overseas. But, as with Sudoku, the craze over the game died down. Therefore, when a new Mahjongg game comes out the public expects a new...

Decent version of a Fun Game

By gdub13 on Sun, 2009-08-09 09:04
Pros: Fun Addictive gameplay. Very customizable in many aspects.
Cons: The graphics could use some work. The sound effects dont seem to fit in the game, they're terrible.
I have always been a fan of playing Mahjongg, it is just a very addicting game to me. This version is pretty good as long as you change the style of the tiles, the chinese character ones are just too...

Not What It Sounds Like But Still Entertaining

By andrew.duran.101 on Mon, 2009-08-03 06:12
Pros: Most of the enchanting games are quite entertaining and good for getting away from daily problems.
Cons: Unless experience with similar games or software, it would not be recommend for you to use.
Solitaire games are very intressting to play with when one is bored. Through this program I can see it showing a almost clear light through the solitaire games being offered. Each time I open this...

Pros: Customizeable, easy to navigate, many unique games, fairly addictive.
Cons: Interface is a visual monstrosity, sounds not well-adapted, aspect size of certain things needs made legible.
For a game meant to waste time it should be far more attractive interface-wise and should be visually complemented at that. A range of things aren't very satisfactory -not in the least. For the price...

Unimpressive Mahjongg

By ebi0494 on Mon, 2009-04-27 22:39
Pros: If you enjoy Mahjongg, you're going to have fun playing this game. It's a tad showy and confusing at first, but once you work your way through the kinks, you're really going to love it.
Cons: If you're new to Mahjongg, you're going to hate this game and never play Mahjongg again.
I've always dabbled in Mahjongg, and while I've never loved nor hated the game, I think it's safe to say that I'll forever dislike it after having played "Pretty Good Mahjongg." "Pretty Good...
