Pros:
The softwer works on different types of hardrive and even though it takes long to install it makes your computer better than before. It easy to use and to navigate through. When scaning through it took a really short time, in my case i have 3 hard disks that total up to 200 GB but it took a really shot time to scan (in mac) than i expected.
Cons:
Data recovery was not 100%. It takes a really long time to scan (in windows) and it does not support GUI. One important thing to note is that it does not fix bad sectors, this is a lie. It only tells the hard drive to register those bad sector and exclude them from space to be used.
Review:

On the 300GB, HDDRegenarator detects 300+ bad sectors, and tells me that it successfully fixed them... I'm sure it helped... But it's clearly not perfect because the WD WinDLG Diagnostic tool still cannot perform an extended test without failure. Now the the error code returned by the Western Digital tool is unknown: "08-". It still failed. No need to worry about all these because HDD Regenerator is here to help us all out.
This intellectually built software recovers all your lost data from those Bad Sectors and fixes those areas. Let us not get into the complicated details of the working mechanism of the software becaus this has a very intricate program running behind it which will do nothing but confuse us normal people!
I would highly recommend HDD Regenerator as the best consumer tool to recover data from faulty HDD, but just a friendly advise for those who are thinking about using it, which is : The repair of bad sectors on my Maxtor HDD only lasted for a while, as soon as I had finished backing up, the bad sectors were back again, not all of them but many.

Conclusion:

The software can help but out there, there are better one than HDD generator
