Review:

Wik and the Fable of Souls is a game developed by the cool guys at Reflexive Entertainment, which is availible for download on the Xbox 360 in the Xbox live arcade. The character controlled's name is Wik (didn't see that coming), the equivalent cross-breed of a frog, a reptile, and an elf with blue ears and a blue and black minibeard, uses a combination of his freakishly long tongue and jumping to navigate through over 120 levels. Wik is accompanied by an odd mule-like creature named Slotham. The aim of Wik and the Fable of Souls is to feed a set number of a variety of grubs to Slotham. The goal to feed Slotham progressively becomes more and more dangerous every chapter. There are a vast amount of bugs and harmful critters that try to steal the grubs and directly damage the protagonist, Wik. He can also fall off platforms into an infinite abyss of death. On both the Xbox and the PC game, one must try to get the three gems (Ruby, Diamond, and Emerald), throughout every level to unlock the most epic ending of the game. This game also features a challenge mode, which is really more of a practice mode to learn acrobatics performed regularly in normal mode. It is a good game, and a must-try for all fans of platformers such as Mario and Yoshi.

Conclusion:

Great game, long gameplay, great price! What more can one get from an expert product like this?
