Review:

When I went to try Aqua Deskperience, I was expecting it to simply provide a way of forcing applications which hide copy/paste features. It actually tries to doa lot more, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite measure up.

To test it out, I began by trying to copy some text from within Firefox. Most Mozilla-based browsers use their own way of displaying certain information which I don't feel comfortable exlapining, but suffice to say, Aquadesk could not copy and paste any of this information.

It also provides a feature for revealing password boxes, but it again fails to reveal what lerks behind the asterix-protected boxes in Firefox.

I didn't think I was being fair at this point, so I tried the password revealer in the Windows XP Internet dialup dialogue, but unless my password was recently changed to "saved", it was unable to reveal it; only when I typed it in, was it able to reveal it, which makes it useless.

I figured this was due to an inherant security feature in XP, so I tried it in Internet Explorer, which finally worked.
At this point, confident that it would work well in Internet Explorer, I decided to try the nifty Translation tools. Often, it would seem to randomly skip words, translating maybe one or two. Two verify that it wasn't the translator that was having problems, I manually copied and pasted teh same text into the translation site, which proceeded to correctly translate the text.

Another feature I decided to try was "Graphic Capture". I am pleased to say that this feature works relitively well, letting you take screen captures in any shape you care to move your mouse in. The catch is that, unless you paste it to a graphics application and save it manually, it will only save JPEG files, which many technically savvy users denounce as optimal for most screen caps; The option for something royalty free such as PNG would have been fantastic.
If the software were retooled to only provide the graphical features, I feel it could have a lot of potential. In it's current state, I find it confusing and inconsistant in its functionality.

The software has a lot of features. It's a shame that very few of them work as predicted.

Conclusion:

I cannot recommend this application in it's current state.
