Pros:
Some of the graphics are nice and the concept is good.
Cons:
The tutorial and help are abismal, making the game a horror to learn and once you've learned its just not that fun. Hard to navigate menus and weak combat graphics really detract from the gameplay.
Review:

I am not exactly sure where to start this review... so I guess I will just start ranting. As my title sugests, this is one confusing game. I began by going through the tutorial, which hardly explains anything.

So many concepts and different parts of this game were forced upon me in such a rapid fashion that I had no idea what was going on. I really felt like I had no control over what was happening and I learned next to nothing from the tutorial. So I decided to forgo it and play the actual game. This was much easier. I learned a hundred times faster from trial and error than from the tutorial.

I was immediately impressed by the graphics which were three dimensional rendered objects, but the fight scene graphics were severely lacking. Also the menu designs were awful and I spent way too much time trying to navigate menus that were poorly set up.

I enjoyed the game's premise: gain fame while trading and fighting with rival interstellar nations, but the execution was poor. There was no real action in this game, just a bunch of menu navigating and frustration. I might have enjoyed this game more if it was explained better to me, but in the end I just couldn't get in to it.

It was slowly paced and I died constatnly because I couldn't figure out how to improve my character or ship. You would think that if this is the third itteration of this game that more of the kinks would have been worked out and the designers would have figured out how to make the game more user-friendly.

Conclusion:

This game is just not up to par. More time should have been put into drawing the user in. I'm sure the game becomes more enjoyable as you go, but no one will ever want to get that far because of the poorly designed user interface.
