SuperBot Review

Okay...so you're downloading music. What's the most annoying thing? Being able to download only 4 or 5 songs at a time right. That's the problem I had. I hated waiting for those songs to finish to before I could start downloading new songs. I had tried a few download accelerators with little actually acheived. Sure they made the downloads a little bit faster. I still got tired of waiting. This lead to the search for faster (if not more) downloads at one time.

After a few days of research, I happened upon an ingenious little bit of programming called SuperBot. After a few days of the trial, I was convinced to drop the cash and buy the program. Now I can download multiple files and even whole albums at once. Trust me, I have less gray hairs because of this program. Let me tell you, Metallica has a lot of stuff to be downloaded and while I am willing to spend the time doing it, I also have many other things I need to do. With SuperBot, all I had to do was click on all of the files that I wanted to download and that was it. I left the room went to the store with my wife, and when I came back, everything was finished. Pretty damn simple if you ask me.

Just in case you have to stop for anything, you can pause downloading of files indefinitely (or until the connection is lost). Not only that. but there are a few other extras worth mentioning. Let me give you some background information. My brother has this thing for naughty websites. That's all good and well, but every single one of us knows that when you open up a porn website you have to worry about 69 more opening up in about 2 seconds. What comes in with those pop-ups? That's right. Tonight with your porn we are serving a side of viruses. Now how do you stop a sibling with a penchant for for virus inducing porn? I showed my dad (I don't live with my parents who came to me for help) the SuperBot program and what it could do along with the child filtering system that was included in it. He decided to invest in a copy of the program (which is a hell of a lot better than buying a new computer because a virus crashed your hard drive). Let me happily say that my parent's computer has been porn free for 8 months and has recovered from any and all viruses nicely.

One last feature worth mentioning which is especially helpful is you have to logon to the internet everytime that you want to use it like my parents do. Have you ever saved a website for later viewing? I have saved literally hundreds in my days using the internet. I hated having to get on the internet just to view my Favorites folder and sort through the crap I put in there just to find one website (my parents hated it even more...dial up really does suck). Now that I am using SuperBot, I save all of my favorite websites for later, offline, viewing. I created several folders which I use to separate and store my favorite websites. Now I can view all of my favorite websites in a few seconds. Let me say that this is much easier than having to get on the internet each time...and I have a cable connection.

This program has saved me a lot of time just in downloading files. I can't even begin to tell you how nice it is to play with my daughter or do my homework and not having to worry about running back and forth to the computer to start more downloads. It is a huge pain in the butt that I was very happy to part with. My parents thank me every time I come over to their house and ask about the computer. So I spent a little bit of money for a program when I could have gotten many others for less or even free. Personally, I put more stock into quality than cost. I seriously recommend this program to anyone who hates to waste time with anything computer related. If you don't download then I know you save websites. If you don't save websites or download anything, I know that your kids do. There is no one out there who can't benefit from this program.
