Review:

When I first saw Wild West Wendy I thought "Oh, Diner Dash in the old west." I was totally wrong. What I ended up finding was me watching every move of every table to ensure they always had a drink and didn't pick a fight. All this while "gunning down" the local thief or the latest "most wanted" man in town.

When I first started, I went straight to story mode because I always love a good story. What I was awarded was a straight to the point story. Loving family gets burned by evil rancher, one family member escapes to come back and show evil rancher just who's boss. A typical run of the mill story, but it's hard to be original with so many games on the market with a similar story. If anything she could have been a singer in a saloon when suddenly the barmaid quit so now she had to do her job.

But then you couldn't gun down baddies trying to steal your hard earned cash or stop the local most wanted. So story mode has all you need despite it's cliche story line.

Campaign mode looks to be a lot of fun as new challenges are laid out for you in each of the surrounding areas. Expand here or build up here. I really like these kinds of games but, ufortunately in the downloadable version, I never got to play it unless I "pony up". So I can only think it will be very cool to show my opponent just who is the baddest beverage runner in the west.

Last is the Time Attack mode that has you racing the clock to be the best in the world! Your score will be put against someone else's score on a bulletin telling you, basically, if you're number one. Or as I like to think "if you have what it takes to out click and outlast the competition". Who knows, you may have just did better than your boss or even a friend at school.

Altogether Wild West Wendy has been an enjoyable experience and has me considering buying the full version so I can find out just what happens.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a game to pass time at home or work, this is it.
