Easy-to-use, straight to the point and no messing about with unneeded features-does what it says on the tin.

The images need to be prepared before putting together, and professionals would have much more sophisticated software.
Review:

The CoffeeCup GIF animator is a strange name to begin with, but its not bad. It can use many commonly used image formats, and put them together to form animated gifs. These are the things you see often on internet forums as display pictures which move. you can create your own .gifs, or add to previous ones.

There is an option to import a .avi movie and change it into a .gif format, which I suppose it does by taking a still at intervals during the movie and putting them together. This is highly useful if you need to upload a movie but the host will only allow pictures. Exporting it as a flash movie it is also valuable in cases of graphic and web design.

The HTML code given is good, apart from a banner appears at the top so you'll have to cut the advert text.

The process itself is quite fast (I mean it doesn't take more than 5 minutes), but I don't think its quite as fast as the professional programs. nevertheless, it is still good.

The options available are good, the variables ranging from the color options to time delay. Transparency is also available, but for me, it just left white ugly spaces. You can change the color of the transparencies, but that didn't help much. I'm sure there's a practical application for this, but the instructions didn't explain this very well. So I just left it off. There's also loop options, internet-friendly options and a couple of others as well.

Overall its quite fun to play around with, or can be used more maturely for professional applications.

Conclusion:

Easy to understand and use, is altogether good and sound. But if you want more complex .gifs, you're going to have to edit the pictures yourself first. Good instructions.
