Features & Benfits:

Before trying Typograf, I thought it was just the usual font explorer that had absolutely nothing new and nothing worthwhile, but looked fun to try.

Well, I'm glad to say Typograf has proven me wrong. Typograf is more than just your regular font exploration utility, where you also get the option to uninstall certain fonts. Typograf is a guide to writing with - style.

First let me talk about the basic font exploration utilities. You get a preview of all your fonts and can quickly go through them. It's also easy to preview the fonts, by double-clicking on the desired font.

It's really easy to uninstall fonts or to add fonts from different sources. From your computer or even from a CD.

But functionality aside, the great thing about Typograf is its help system and its really cool tutorials on styles, fonts, sizes. To start you off, it gives you an overview of the font styles in chronological order via a timeline. Next, everything is explained in detail. if you haven't had enough, it gives you suggestions and advice on what styles and types of fonts to use and how to lay them out.

At first glance i wasn't overly impressed. It just didn't look like it was going to work for me, but after an hour of getting to know the program and using there wonderful help system, Typopraf was becoming to look like a great alternative.
if your looking fr a fairly simple font manager, to use as a book style, i would highly reccomend this program to you.
On the downside though there is no option to change the font in the prograns you are using via the software, and also trying to exit the program is a bother with the buttins regularly changing.

Conclusion:

Overall i enjoyed using this program, it does what it claims to do. They could have added a few more feaures to keep up with there competition. I will most likely continue to use this though and reccomend it to others. Best for its price.
