Review:

As much as I hate giving negitive reviews, a game like this deserves no mercy. It's short, boring, and isn't worth the 10(roughly) MB free on your hard drive. It might seem addicting at first, but you grow to find it isn't, at all. It's hard to believe that more than one person even worked on this.

Ok, so, you begin the game choosing what type of "King" you want to use to rule your castle. As if it matters, once you're 10 minutes into the game the only King that would have made sense in the Dwarf. No matter what king you choose, there are going supreme differences in gameplay. This isn't a good thing, in this game's case. In example, if you get anything other than a Knight or Warrior, you have to make all of your citizens into Soldiers. However, if you choose any of those two, you have to make all of your citizens into Merchants. It's completely unbalanced, you can't make any strong progression to a stat you really want to progress, so you waste a load of time.

There are 4 types of jobs you can make your citizens into. There's soldiers, merchants, celrics, and builders, which don't really serve as legitimate builders, they're just really good at building. Merchants gain money for your Kingdom. Soldiers defend your kingdom. Builders stay there and build. Celrics don't heal people, they actually recruit people for your kingdom instead. Like I said before, unless you choose to rule as a Warrior or Knight, you have to devote at least 60% of your citizens to soldiers. If you don't, you'll get killed so fast, you won't even know what happened. But unless you rule as a Dwarf, you have to do the same for Merchants. I'm serious. Otherwise, your money will deline extremely quick and you'll lose citizens.

Now let's talk about Currancy, "Battle system", and other enraging tidbits. So you know about money and firepower, so then there's "Castle". The more castle you gain, the more sophisticated your castle becomes. So I guess the builders do their work here, but to an extent, but if you've already invested all your citizens into merchants or soldiers, your castle will grow as fast as a glacier would move. There's magic then, which I guess is the main currency. You usually only get it by leveling up or through random events. This really doesn't make sense, becuase, you know, shouldn't gold be the main currancy? Anyways, you can spend this magic at the magic shop. The magic shop has items that could be bought through magic(ha ha), and people. You don't actually sacrifice your citizens, but the amount you have of them is the difference between being able to buy the item or not. Aside from the spells and potions, non of these items are actually useful.... at all. So it's a waste of time. Now, about this "battle system", if thats what you could call it. The only things you can do are retreat and attack, thats it. It's just an all out button mash of attack until somebody dies. Oh, and the people fighting aren't just your soldiers, that's right, it's all of your citizens. So, you could fight an extremely tough monster, and by the end of it all, you'd only have half of your population left. Are you kidding me? All that work for nothing? It makes you want to rip your hair out. And then there's these "random events" that go on during the entire game. During turns, you run into these random events, usually there are negetive ones, ones that actually take away for your progress. If you're lucky, you might find some magic, but often, it's a battle or HUGE loss of progress on your gold and castle. A very large amount, so it's like the battle system consequences, only applied to the progress of your castle. These happen way too much, and really make you want to quit and leave.

There's not much more I can say about this shallow, horrible game. I can't believe I actually thought it'd be even the slightest amusing. I was completely wrong. Don't try this game, unless you're forced to, and then not even. Just avoid it.

Conclusion:

It's not fun, a poor excuse for a game. I would never like to even think of this game again.
