Review:

Hey guys, the IPSwitcher Basic v.13 has a fine interface, Very easy to follow and you will understand what you are doing. It alows you to see the available adapters- { WAN (PPP/SLIP)Interface, 3com 10/100 Mini PCI Ethernet Adapter} you have on your system. As soon as you start the IPSwitcher Basic v1.3, it shows your TCP/IP (IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway), DNS ( DNS server address) that your system is currently connected to. It then gives you the options to select TCP/IP address automatically through DHCP servers. This means you can make a configuration with a particular IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway. It also lets you get a DNS server address automatically. Also, you can name your configuration just the way you like it. You can delet a configuration or edit anytime. You can let your selected configuration to start automatically whenever your system is starting. This makes sense to me as I like my systems to be ready with all grogrames working each time I start my computer. TheIPSwitcher Basic v1.3 has Advance Settings on NetBIOS over TCP/IP. This lets you choose either to Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, or Use NetBIOS settings from DHCP server.

After making and naming your configuration, you then have to apply it to your network. From my test, applying configuration to the WAN PPP/SLIP Interface is a little crapy as I'm using a dial up connection. but it works with the 3com 10/100 Mini PCI Ethernet Adapter (LAN Connection). I'm using a dial up connection so if the IPSwitcher Basic v1.3 doesnt work on dial up, then it sucks to me. I think you guys can try the IPSwitcher Basic v1.3 first, then if it meets your needs you can buy. The price is great for the funtions, it takes about 6MB of memory. It has a very user friendly interface.

Conclusion:

It doesnt apply to my dial up connection so It would be bad if I'm connected to the internet only through a dial up. So I cant buy it as I'd love it to work in each ways.
