Review:

GroupMail has tons of features to help you create an effective email campaign. To begin, just select your server type, either DNS or SMTP, then the program wizard will quickly guide you through the set up process.

You can make your email list manually by entering each name or import them from an Excel spreadsheet. Both GroupMail Standard and the Professional version are equipped to handle a list of unlimited email addresses.

GroupMail has all of the basic formatting options like bold, italic, underline, justification, changing font size, color and type.
Additionally, you can manage your account, filter your emailing list, schedule the delivery of your emails and choose from three different types of message encoding.

Installing and setting up GroupMail is very simple and the wizard will lead you through the entire process. We didn't encounter any problems.
GroupMail has a “Getting Started Helper” that will guide you through setting up your SMTP server or Direct Mail.

All of the icons resemble the icons in the Microsoft XP operating system. This familiar look and feel makes the software easy to navigate and understand. Even though there are tons of options and features in this product, you'll know exactly where to go to set up your messages, server settings and contact lists. All of the options are separated into easily accessible categories.

GroupMail offers two different ways to create an HTML email. You can hard code it into the program using your HTML editor or notepad or import it from a pre–existing page that you've created on your desktop. It's not hard to import the HTML and once it's in GroupMail, you can view the final message in a web browser and modify the source code if needed.

In the GroupMail program, you also have the option of creating a plain text email. Once you complete your email, run a spell check and it's ready to send.

GroupMail doesn't offer a lot of reporting options. The basic program will only inform you of the delivery status of your emails. You can't see if the recipients have unsubscribed or opened the email; however, there are add–ons you can purchase that provide in-depth details like bounced emails and so on.

Conclusion:

GroupMail will help you to make all your promotional emails, newsletters or regular text emails. This software is extremely easy to use and for the price, you won't find a better bulk email product.
