When I was installing this program, I was thinking it would be just a lame flash generator that people who are completely clueless with anything that has to do with computers uses. I am fairly experienced in flash design, and when I opened up this program, it started out as incredibly simple. You know, just a simple window with nothing special, just like any other third-party program. But within 5 minutes of use, I found that SWFText was more than that.

What I had found is that there are over 120+ text effects. I thought that was simply amazing. I had no idea anyone could come up with that many text effects. I could think of a few off the top of my head, but 120? On top of that it has tons and tons of options to choose form to make your flash banner and/or intro unique. Such as sounds, buttons, frame rate, size of your movie, background animations, text effects, and tons more. You can even add a link or a button to your website. I had never used anything so easy.

Well with the pros there are also cons to spending your money on this program: You can easily create a lot of these effects and animations even if you have even a tiny bit of flash experience. Some of them looked exactly the same when I compared them; even though there are tons of effects, a lot of them are just the same as others but with a different name and a slight change to the animation. the last thing is the price. You can easily find stuff just like this online for FREE. $35.96 seems like a little much to be paying for mediocre effects and a simple flash compiler to go with it.
