Review:

I have used security cameras before but I sincerely haven’t come across one which can handle so many with so much ease and loaded with so many features, they atually overwhelmed me (positively though). In short this software gives you all security and all the control you need.

Blue Iris manipulablity makes it fit to be employed in the office as well as in the house.

Features: (5/5)
>Ease to manipulate individual cameras, and allocate different recording timings (specific days and hours).
>Motion sensors allow one to economise on the amount of computer memory used.
>Can be manipulate to ignore flapping flags but start recording when another type of motion is
Detected, hence eliminating force triggering of recording which can use much of the storage space.
>Ability to buffer up to 50 images prior to the motion trigger just in case one want to see what actually triggered the recording.
>Easily accessible from anywhere in the world, as long as on as connected to the internet.
>Multiple alerts; loudspeaker, email, instant messenger and phone call are used to inform the user of any sound and or motion triggered recording. This updates the user in real time from anywhere.
>Extra security features to limit online accessibility of the cameras. User names and passwords can be used to keep unwanted users off the cameras and hence ensure non one tampers with them. This feature is very important if the software is used in factories and other work places in that non authorised personnel can’t manipulate the cameras and hence compromise the security of the place.

Control and Ease of use: (5/5)
The Help section is loaded with a lot helpful tips and it is in non technical language, meaning that anybody and install and use it without external help. A pointing device, a mouse or a touch pad, is all one needs. This eliminates the need to need to remember various command associated with some of the security software I know.

Market acceptability.
Security is a major concern in every home and workplace, meaning that anything which will improve on it at the minimum expense is more than welcome, it is a great relief. Blue Iris fits in the security gadgets market perfectly.

Suggestions: what happens when one needs to upgrade from single camera to multi cameras, buy another license?

Conclusion:

A must have for business, its versatility and ease of manipulations means it can fit in so many applications.
